About the Authors and Illustrators
Heidi Eusebio-Abad is a Professor at the Dept. of English and Comparative Literature at the University of the Philippines and writer for children. Several of her poems and stories were published by the Junior Inquirer. She is a wife and a mother to three lovely daughters, two of whom are twins. She is a member of Kuting (Kwentista ng mga Tsikiting)

Jomike Tejido is a member of Ang Ink (Ang Ilustrador ng Kabataan) and is a First Year Architecture Major at the University of Sto. Tomas. Some of his illustrations have appeared in the Junior Inquirer. You can check out more of his work at www.hop.to/jomike

Annette Flores-Garcia is a mother of four energetic boys who love to read and be read to. She is co-author, with her mother Lin Acacio-Flores of "A Child's Treasury of Philippine Christmas Stories" and author of "A Tiger on the Wall". She is a member of Kuting (Kwentista ng mga Tsikiting)

Bettina Munoz is what people may call a Renaissance Woman. She draws and paints, sews masterpieces, cooks and bakes, does wonderful arts and crafts, is a whiz with the computer and can play piano concertos. She has, at last count, seven dogs.

Perpili Alipon-Tiongson is a member of Kuting and will have her own "kuting" soon. Her story, "New Sister" is one of the stories in the anthology "All the Same Tree".

Jill Posadas is in the midst of her second degree as a Fine Arts Major at the University of the Philippines. Energetic and kooky, Jill loves to draw monsters.

Frances Ong is a Psychology Major at the University of the Philippines who loves to write for children. Two of her stories have been published by Junior Inquirer.
