Rob
Rubin, Jr. wears two hats. One as Managing
Director of Architectural Digest and the other as
an MA student in Creative Writing at the University
of the Philippines. Rob obviously loves Christmas
and wishes it were celebrated not only once a year
but the whole year round!
Jo
Ann Bereber is a member of Ang Ilustrador
ng Kabataan. She has illustrated several children's
books some of which are There's a Snake in the House
by Carla M. Pacis and "Ang Barumbadong Bus" by Rene
Villanueva. She presently works at the Display Department
of SM Malls.
Panch
Alcaraz is
alos a member of Ang Ilustrador ng Kabataan. She is
presently working on her second degree at the College
of Fine Arts, University of the Philippines. Panch
has illustrated several children's stories for Saranggola
Magazine and Junior Inquirer.
Gina
Verdolago is presently working on her MA
in Creative Writing at the University of the Philippines.
This is the first time she has written poetry for
children and it seems to suit her.
Paolo
Lim is also a member of Ang Ilustrador
ng Kabataan. Among other things, he is working on
a book for UNICEF.
Amel
Zubiri-Miguel is a member of Kuting or
Kwentista ng mga Tsikiting, proud wife of illustrator
Felix Mago Miguel and proud mother of Ulan and Ulap
who are expecting a new sister soon!
Lyra
Garcellano is also a member of Ang Ilustrador
ng Kabataan and has just finished her second degree,
a BA Fine Arts from the University of the Philippines.
Lyra is the creative genius behind Atomo and Weboy,
a cartoon strip in the Junior Inquirer.
Marie Christine
Sipin graduated from the College of Architecture
and Fine Arts of Univesity of Sto. Tomas and is also
a member of Ang Ilustrador ng Kabataan. This charming
artist also writes for children. We should be reading
some of her stories soon.
