Did you know that the local name for tarsier is mago? In this month's
issue, we pay tribute to Magozine's official mascot and namesake, the
tarsier with two poems by Heidi Eusebio-Abad and Joseph Nathan Cruz, an
article on the tarsier and the "Tarsi Man" and a travelogue on the Loboc
River, a favorite destination of thirsty tarsiers. Our story is not on the
tarsier but serves to remind us to take care of our forests. And the
activities we planned for you are all centered around the forest and
tarsiers. Hope you enjoy this issue!
